We’re excited to announce the arrival of a new series of Really Readable online books for children with dyslexia. Designed to support the reading development of dyslexic children, as well as other learning differences, the accessible readers are a welcome addition to our growing library of over 4000 online books!
The Really Readable series from BookLife Publishing includes 15 fiction and non-fiction books for reading ages 7–9.
Each book in the series features:
Dyslexia-friendly fonts and increased spacing to improve readability and make the text feel less crowded
Off-white backgrounds to improve text contrast and avoid overstimulating readers
Simplified page layouts to reduce distractions and aid in concentration.
The series has been carefully created in line with the guidelines set out in the British Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia-Friendly Style Guide.

“My son was diagnosed as severely dyslexic at 8 years old. Although he had specialised tutors, he also enjoyed using ABC Reading Eggs for practice and kept going with it into his late teens without any coaxing. He found it fun.”

“My daughter is dyslexic and struggles with reading. I homeschool her due to classes being so large she does not get the one-on-one she needs to succeed. Since starting ABC Reading Eggs she has excelled dramatically and loves to read and spell. Absolutely love this program. She looks forward to her course every day. Thank you for giving her a chance to learn and grow!”

“This reading program has helped my dyslexic son go from being a non-reader to reading in three months!”
– Megan
“My daughter is in kindergarten and started falling behind in her reading. She was really struggling. Her teacher and doctor wanted her evaluated for dyslexia, but most resources are overwhelmed [and she couldn't get an evaluation] for 6–12 months. I started [to] research and came across an article that listed apps that could be helpful for kids with dyslexia. ABC Reading Eggs was on that list, so I gave it a try. She played it all weekend long for hours. Normally I wouldn’t want her on her iPad for so long, but she was progressing, dramatically! You can’t believe the difference it made! It’s been two weeks and she went from not being able to put sounds together to reading short sentences now. I am so relieved and excited, and she loves the app. I am so grateful.”
